The PFL Saturday triple-header ended in an exciting engagement as Tuloy FC got back on the win column with a 4-1 victory over Garelli United.

The two sides, rooted in Salesian institutions, faced off well early, and the Bhoys imposed their famed possession-based quick passing moves early, striking first via Harry Nuñez poking in from an uncleared corner 7 minutes in. Taketomo Suzuki’s wards would double the lead 4 minutes later, a bouncing ball in midfield controlled and lifted by John Lloyd Jalique into a on-running Cyrelle Saut, who rounded his man and stroked it deftly into the left side of goal from the top of the box. Garelli would have a few opportunities to get something back but their striker Jules Koumoin would always be left short of service as the half winded down.

The second half would see the Grey Wolves thrown a lifeline though, Jules Koumouin being the beneficiary of a high press after Rederick Fornis nicked the ball from his man and ran right at the Tuloy goal, his shot coming off Ronie Wale. Koumoin would also immediately attempt to equalize, but having sped past 2 defenders and Wale, his shot would be cruelly denied by the crossbar. That and other misplayed balls would come back to bite Garelli as Tuloy would net in the 67th minute to make it 3-1, John Lloyd Jalique getting a goal of his own from the spot after John Sajor took a boot to the breadbasket from Antonie Cabra that looked like a Brogue Kick.

Jasten Lopango would get in on the action late, the substitute making it 4-1 with a nice header from a Cyrelle Saut cross from the other side of the pitch and about 30 yards back, and despite several attempts the Bhoys could not add onto the score, but can come home to Muntinlupa with the 3 points in the bag.
